Too bend or top? Moe Mist in a tent...

So my buddy has a tent and it is becoming painfully obvious that he will encounter height issues with his Moe Mist and possibly some other sats...he is about a week from flipping to flower, and is debating weather to top his plant down low, or to bend it so the top is pointing down and tied to the bucket (please note the plant was already topped a week back at the very top, but not far down the stem)...I don't know exactly what the current height is but I'll guess 20"-24" plus the 3 gallon bucket...I'm not exactly sure what advice to give him cuz I'm pretty new to this as well and don't have much height limitations to deal with. I would guess the tent to be somewhere around 6'6" - 7' tall then there is an air-cooled 1 watter in there.

yeah something needs to be done..as they double and even tripple in size when in flower..and ..i would let them veg another week after topping befor flipping..let them heal from the surgery..Just my thaughts

If he is having height issues now,,,wait till the flip. The girls will go thru a two week stretch!!! Top the shit out of them now and give the 10 days to come back before the flip.

It's not a height issue yet...but I am talkin about it becoming a problem come the flip / stretch.

Hi. i top and tie.
when i top i do it at the 6th or 7th fan sets. tthat way the plant is able to veg long enough to grow out the 2 new stems. you can also top the lower branches and really bush it out. when i chop the top off i like to do it early so the lower branches get to even off with the 2 new tops creating like 8 colas all even getting the same light.

i also like to tie down which is what id do in this ssituation. when the top is brough over and tied the top will slow almost to a stop. then you have a sideways growing plant. all the branches become colas. its awsome. just with going into flower i wouldnt top it. good luck

If ur growing sativas yeah height will be an issue. i personally have never had a plant triple in height. i had one g13 x haze that doubled but chances are it wont triple.. actually i cant say it wont cuz i dont know what starin it is..but i would stick to indicas or a hybrid if i had a tent. dont forget the plant will go where you direct it...you could just take a bnch of cuttings to clone. but you will be adding veg time. i heard ruderalis plants are great for tent grows. but you could make a sativa work. youd just have to train it right. i had an apt years ago. i used to grow em flat along the path and as long as i tied em right noone had any idea it was ganja till the smell came.

supercroping is not topping - you dont remove the main cola just bend it over and over
