@ohgee kush I use Fasilitor regularly, I use it as directed, then I do a triple dose weekly the first 3 weeks of flower, then reduce it to recommended rates...I also stop using it 3-4 weeks before harvest
I don't seem to be having any issues using it like this, and I do LST plants regularly.......

Why three times the rate? You have that much stretch? Does it pack on nodes? I do LST as well and occasionally have to use medical tape. Isn't this even enough or is yours solid with no heigh variation?

Using silica will strengthen the cell walls and if used in excess it can cause your plants stem to snap while super cropping if not careful.. It's best to LST instead if you have been giving it a bit too much silica.. Another thing you might notice is the stems are smooth to a touch....
IME, it's best to do all your bondage work the first 2 weeks of bloom or during veg while the plants are under less intense lighting..

@toquer I've always used Fasilitor per the directions JACKMAYOFFER gave me.
I believe he experimented with several different rates, and the application timing as well.
The info JACK gave me,regarding application timing, and rates really works well for my garden.....

Was there a certain time that one can physically see when to add fasilitor or better yet mind sharing the application discussed? Thanks in advance waayne.

@midwestdensies I mix it per the Aptus feed chart until flower, then use a triple dose weekly for 3 weeks, then back to the normal rate.JACK has also posted this in a couple of different threads.....

He's always seems to be changing it up to simplify or test. Great grower.

I totally agree @midwestdensies
I've always found JACK's info is always on point.
JACKMAYOFFER is an outstanding grower, who actually does methodical testing.
JACKMAYOFFER and Obsoul33t are both on the cutting edge , as far as I'm concerned......

No wonder his flowers went from being bomb to subpar....

Im saying this in all truthfulness. When he was rocking all Aptus his flowers were great. His batches lately, I wouldnt bother.

NMC how did u remedy this? did u stop totally using silica? i was out to my plots today and i wanted to see if my plants was brittle like u states urs was..so i took a small limb toward the bottom and tried to super crop it very gently and it nearly snapped into. im gonna go back this evening and put tape around it so i dont lose the limb. i been using osa/28 and i also never had this issue with protekt.

i use to use protekt alot but i switched to armour si since i could get it 2$ cheaper then the protekt and got 2.2% more silica in the process, but trying osa/28 so far and i have some very big healthy plants outdoors but the way NMC said his stems was like celery is what mine also feel like when trying to supercrop them. Another good silica product that i been using this year testing out on a couple plants has been NPK industries Raw silica
