Too much soap in soap/water solution?

I’m having the same problem. I also used dawn. And I used a ton of soap. And I sprayed a ton. And I sprayed quite often haha. Ouch.
Live and learn I guess.

This is a good thread. Even if it’s old. Still teaching randoms that google it in 2020!

Oh my ! I grow outside. I was having white fly and other bug issues. I don't use any chemicals ever. So I used a soap- water- with a touch of cider vinegar solution 2 evenings ago - last evening I about died. They are ALL looking dead. I spent 3 hours trimming the dying leaves off - was it the soap (I usually use'Palmolive. This time I use dawn) was it the vinegar ? will they survive ? Will they herm ? I'm devastated ! Any suggestions ?
