I like to help, anyway I can, and the privilege of being given a place to hang out and talk shop without the fear or stigma that comes along with this hobby. Maybe Now it is "all the rage" but when I started out "shit wasn't as "open" " as it is today. People Like @logic have pioneered the forums, taken the risks of yester-year as have many, but few remain because of those "risks". Believe me, I have seen forums come and go. Looking good , but your tester needs to up his mag and P a little. Do you help your testers dial in the cultivars or let them wing it ?

a tester is testing so they will never have things dialed in perfectly the first run
it also gives me a better idea of what happens during the grow
those 2 middle rows look really nice to me (maybe lacks a little) ....... the other rows are not my strains so I don't judge them
I have definitely seen my work fully dialed in after testers run them again

I just figured you'd want the best representation of the cultivars for analysis. So it was just a suggestion from a veteran grower seeing a slight correctable problem. Nothing more.

What lighting and wattage is your tester using? Are they all females or still need to be sexed?

If you liked tangie you should try tangerine power from sin city. I’ve grown both side by side. The tang had that musky tangerine taste. The tangerine power tastes like straight up Fanta soda.

I grew out two seeds of flo original outside and they were pretty much identical. They were gorgeous but I think 5 years later I still have buds around from it somewhere. I was kinda disappointed after growing the Colorado flo with my old roomates. The Colorado flo was fire. I still have some flo beans left. Might try them again next year.

I’ve been making my own seed stock over the years and mainly use that now. But this year I’m throwing out about 24 freebies and a couple others into my yard just as an experiment
This years experiment should have nature making some interesting crosses.
Blue bubba: haze man seeds

Blue band: hazeman seeds

Bubblegummer: female seeds

Lemon kush: female seeds

Candy land: grand daddy purple seeds

Og kush: grand daddy purple seeds

Kens kush: grand daddy purple seeds

Blue og g13 labs

Bubba kush: humbolt seed organization

Alaskan thunder fuck skunk #1: twisty

treats seeds

Chemdog guava creamsicle : twisty treat seeds.

Gorilla glue #4 x gorilla glue#4s1 : my experiment

Blue euphoria x with whatever the yard provided : yard provided experiment

Ogkb 2.0 s1: yard provided experiment

Oh and nature makes crosses. I will have females out there that don’t get all seeded and produce a couple seeds on the bottom. Most people would think those only produce s1s but I’ve had things happen like when I stuck a Blue power(clone called blue euphoria) clone next to a grape god and I had a few what looked to be s1s on the bottom buds. Thing is when I grew those seeds the next year I could tell the two females next to each other mated. It didn’t produce a hermie either. It produced the weirdest tasting ganj I’ve ever had and the plant was massive and super resistant to mold. I think I let it go clear til November in Colorado. Any how, I like the gifts nature gives. I’ve made seeds a few times before by leaving a male with all female plants. And I’ve grown some of those with nice results. I used to think maybe I wanted to get into moving seed stock. But those days have changed for me. Now I just can’t buy anymore at the moment so I’ll just make crosses or let nature make crosses for me. After all it’s just for me anyhow.
As for my favorite breeders go. I have no idea because I haven’t tried them all. So far gooey breeder, sin city, reserva privada, rare dankness, next generation seeds. I’ll let you all know which was the best of all these at the end of the summer. No longer even growing inside at the moment. Cost too damn much and times have changed around here. Happy growing. Glad to see this thread on here.
