It makes the room more efficient. It makes room for floor drains homies. It keeps everything off the ground and an additonal barrier against bugs/moisture/mold and temp swings which can mess with the root zone. Besides all that no sound will be escaping the room at all or smell. Basically its better in my opinion than having precious girls sitting on a dirty floor, I mean honestly, they're better than that!
