I remember seeing a thread on there that linked some t5 bulbs that were superior to others currently being used. They were either phillips or sylvania, 95% sure, and their page boasted that they used certain ingredients that made their bulbs burn at a certain light range (I'm totally unscientific here), as opposed to other t5 manufacturers that just produced bulbs with tinted glass.

Anyone know what I'm talking about?

I'm sorry I don't know which post your specifically talking about (tho I am new here) even with a t5 search nothing came up for me....

Anyways the t5's I really like are the AgroBrite's, they come in 64k, 41k and 35k and the 54w'ers put out 5000 lumens per tube. And if you get a fixture like this
you can have around 40,000 lumens and you can stack them with the diff kelvin ratings and turn half on and off or whatev. Just a super easy way to give your plants diff spectrums and intensities at diff times.
Just my 2 cents.
