Searching through countless threads on numerous forums. They is barely any good info on how strains before as trees, mini trees, bushes and so on.

I will get it started.

Green Crack

medium- 10 gallon coco in 17 wide smart pot.
topped at 18"s tall

I was a member of ~SYK~'s tree grower commercial farmer forum, kbsers.com before it faded away, and there were 7 or 8 guys on there who did this big time with kbs type buckets. The experimented with strains quite a bit and the highest yeilder that was of decent quality was that they all agreed on was...

Reeferman Hashplant - 4 lbs in my system

I did a tree with it and got 4 lbs, my subsequent trees were not grown for amount but for the type of pot and in similiar setups

strain - reeferman Hashplant
medium and container size - top drip hydroton 4 gallons with dwc 5 gallons below
topped or not - top drip hydroton 4 gallons with dwc 5 gallons below
rough height and width at flip - roughly 3 feet wide and 40 inches tall
end of stretch 6 feet tall
end of run 7 feet tall
shape filled space (3x4x10 foot closet) 4 lbs

strain - bubba kush Pre 97 clone, from ~SYK~ indirectly 3 lbs

The Green Crack, Skywalker and Jack the Ripper pretty much stayed the same size after week 3.

Jack the Ripper Hermed even with reverse still found a seed here and there. With 2 600's and 1 1000's she yielded 12oz of ok bud and 4 oz of hash making fluff. nugs did not harden well because of herm.

Green Crack. 2 plants with 2 sides of light. (600 and 1000) 1 plant with 4 sides ( 2 600's & 2 1000's) got almost 2 3/4lbs Super dense nugs.

Skywalker OG? 4 plants. 2 with 2 sides, 1 with 3 sides, and 1 with 4 sides light. Still trimming ....

UK CHEESE


For trees and big production in 3.5 gallon buckets we love the UK Cheese. It's stem diameter vs bud diameter is the best I've seen.

One of it's great traits that is rarely mentioned.


I didn't have any specific dimensions and didn't want to guess, but we grow them single-stemmed until about 4ft tall, then they are allowed to branch and put into bloom around a week later and finish near 6ft tall in 9 weeks, using ebb and flow buckets with hydroton under 1000's.

Produces a true "tree" shape with forearm-size colas and nearly zero popcorn bud.
