Is there any growers or gurus that can help me determine the best time to begin flushing. I'm growing in Coco coir and wish to harvest when majority or trichomes have turned amber. Can anyone tell me how long it takes for trichomes to turn from milky white to amber or how long after trichomes start to turn amber until most of them are fully amber. I'm aiming to give plants 10 day flush.

Any help is much appreciated
Cheers!! 👍👍

cloudy, when trichomes are all cloudy the plant is done up taking nutrients, flush the soil and let mature till your desired amber count harvest

You'd want to harvest when the plant has between 40%-60% of amber trichomes and flushing is performed 3 weeks before harvest, so with those two estimates you can find about your plant.

That being said, flushing is a controversial subject that some people swear by it and others won't see a diference.

Thank you, this is the best example I have seen today, and will help immensely to determine my harvest. Best, Sandy Bob

it depends i like to harvest with 10% Amber for a balanced strong high and better taste imo.
experiment yourself what you like best, normal range for most is between 10-30% amber.

So I just did a flush and flush less harvest... comparing what had been flushed and what has not been flushed... I nor others can't actually tell which was flushed and which was not....

I am in camp no flush, never noticed any difference. And before you ask. 48 hours of dark before harvest is bro science.

Bugbee science suggested 24 hour lights on at cooler temps... but not proven just a theory he had at end of harvest for more terp production
