Hello everyone , I am so desperate for an answer to this question . So first a little information about the grow , I am growing Runtz Autoflowers and they produced nice buds with plenty of trichomes and the leafs did their normal thing of yellowing and dying off . So here’s the question , the plants have no leafs left , just the buds are left and they still have plenty of clear trichomes , so will my leafless plants buds still mature and have the trichomes still turn cloudy and amber or is it done ? ……..Thanks

Grow tent temp 68 and RH 48 , here’s the best pic of the trichomes I could get , the picture seems to show them cloudy but most of that is light reflection .

Some plants don’t ever really turn milky. They’ll go from clear to amber. (Not suggesting it’s time to harvest. But keep an eye out to make sure you’re not getting too much amber.)

If your using a microscope with led lights on them it may make some milky stuff look clear and vis Versa I had the same issue loupe and natural light might look different I know mine did
Good luck your very near

I grew autos once and waited and waited until leaves were falling off for the trichs to amber. It never happened and that's when I learned that not all trichs turn amber. Specifically on autos. Those plants look just like mine did. You could prob see the old grow journal, if i did one. I'd cut those things down.

Thanks , I’m past 13 weeks and getting paranoid that even though the trichomes are mostly clear that they will start degrading and lose potency .

Thanks , so are you saying leafless plants that consist of only buds still continue to mature ?

Beautiful plants my autos were outside they were Blue dream autos they didn’t get to 70 % cloudy and 2% amber
