Trick into flowering phase

hi, im a total newbie to growing but ive started my first plant, i had to trick it back into the veg phase as i didnt have food for the flowering phase & the buds stayed small.
can someone please tell me how to trick it back into flowering phase?

Ok so its 12 hours light & 12 hours dark to trick it back to flowering but should i stay with that schedule right up to the point of harvesting?
