Trimming my 8 week old girls

The grow tent I am using is 2ft x 4ft x 6ft and my plants are starting to reach. I raised my ballast up by about 1 1/2 feet from my tallest plant to help prevent burns I also did some trimming, (around 35% of the sucker leaves on each plant in the lower areas) to help supercharge my future kolas and stunt my plants growth. According to the company where I got them, they’ve got another 2 to 3 weeks before reaching maturity. Other examples of these plants have grown between 50 and 75cm and sometimes taller so I want to make sure they don’t outgrow me. Any suggestions as to what I could do or could’ve done better?

The "suckers" you removed are fan leaves, which are tasked with photosynthesis to "supercharge" the bud sites.
You may be SOL yield wise.

As above leaves are solar panels. If the plant didn’t need them, it wouldn’t grow them.

Ok it’s bad yes but it will take a little bit longer but the plant will come back strong , lesson learned time to move on . Happy growing regards OD.
