Trimming pistils for increasing size & density

I'm only on #2 but I have learned about manifolding and similar types of training. It seems to make great sense to me as all of plants branches are coming off of the main stem. Theoretically each branch gets the same amount of the good stuff that makes them grow up to be close to the same height.
I'm curious why most growers don't use this type of training. Is it the time required during veg?

yea the veg time.with lst you can fill a 1m2 room in around 4 weeks.with mainline probably double.since every top will make the plant stop growing for a few days.and topped part was a potential bud you removed.soo you have 16 perfect buds and i have 60 uneven ones
