Hey guys!! Im new to the site. I was reffered here by Donk Frog.
Anyways, reason for refferal was I had a few questions about flowering and I was told you guys are the best.
So i'll hop right into it. I have a BC Northern Lights producer that im growing in. It doesnt have the hydro trays in it so im just flowering in 6x6 pots, In ready mix. (see pictures)
http://img192.invalid.com/img192/7784/img1048p.jpg

So now, im a few days past 3 weeks of flowering...
Now im a novice grower...But I have taken no short cuts what so ever to get to where I am now! So now that im nearing the end of this first batch of clones im trying to yield as much as I get from them. oh! The strain im growing is apparently an ICE strain. I dont know much about it, i just got a few clones from a local buddy. So as far as I know, its an original ICE strain.

Now here is my question/dillema.
What should I do with these lower branches which have very little bud?
Clearly they will not amount to much...
Do I just cut the branch as close to the stem as I can so that the main cola gets more nutrients?

http://img220.invalid.com/img220/3553/img1058av.jpg

So what should I do with these bottom branches and small bud sites? Just cut them off? Any advice is appreciated!!
Take it easy on me guys. Like I said, this is my first post and my first ever attempt at growing.

PS: I know the plants dont have much substance to them, like I mentionned this is my first batch and at the time wasn't aware of ways to increase yields like LST or fimming or topping. My next batch which is still in my veg tent has allot more nodes and foliage. Should produce allot more.
Keep in mind the 2 last pictures are the smallest of the plants.
The rest are much more filled out and full!

Any tips based on what you guys see? Thanks in advance! I appreciate all the help.

Awesome thanks. quick peek into veg room.

Okay Awesome! Thanks man! I'll most likely do that tonight then.
And I have enough Clones already in my grow tent. That there is just my flowering box.

Here's what my veg room looks like.

Nice veg room very clean.. I got a Lil tip 4 u tho.. U should mount ur filter up high.. I mounted mine up at the top 2 vent out the hotter stanky air.. The way u go it on the floor is taking all ur nice & cool air.. Juss get some bungee cords or a adjustable strap.. My tent came with some black straps everything looks nice & happy

Thanks guys. I will deffinitely take all your advice. I'll trim those life suckers asap, and re-arrange that carbon filter. I was thinking that myself Goo but just never got around to it. With somebody else voicing their thoughts it will motivate me to do it properly. Thank you.

The filter still works on the floor? I hung my fan right above my light...all the sweetness that used to stink thirty feet from my house is long gone..i figured heat rises so a fan on the floor moving for and the exhaust fan sucking it out up top..you did great on the Veg room..especially for a first timer..is the producer gonna be able to keep up with all those clones your making?

Ya i know i know. im gonna move that fan up. I think its taking too much of the fresh air as was already mentionned.
And as of right now no, my producer wont be able to keep up with how many clones i've got, but i've got another one on the way. Should have it all setup by monday.
Except this next ones gonna be Hydroponics...So I dont know what to do with these soil clones... lol.

Is it possible to take clones that have grown in soil and pull them out to put them in a hydroponics system?

Yes but i recommend, you not taking clones from plants already 3 weeks into flower, i have heard that it could take up to 3 weeks for a plant to go back to veg from flower, its best to take clones while the plant is in veg all the way up to 1 week of flower.

Next time, trim your lower branches at about 1 - 2 weeks after flipping. You will have better results. At least I do. This is if you flip before the plant shows preflowers ( I normally do ) . Nice grow.

Ya I know, I wasn't planning on taking cuttings from those plants that have already flowered.
If you go back in the thread you'll see my veg room with some mothers and fresh clones.
I'll use those guys. I was just wondering If I could take those guys and kind of shake the soil from them so I can use them in a hydro setup.

Producer,

Yes you can, it may be stressful but we have done it successfully on more than one occasion....What worked for us, is to use a tote full of water, dip the rootball and soil in there and stir it around a bit to get all the soil to shake off... Try to rinse as much as possible....and if you are gonna put it in a system that your worried about clogging a filter I think I have read u can put it in a latex paint bag (no experience here tho).....

Okay Awesome. That's all I needed to know. Yes you can!
Right on! Now im stoked! I didn't even think of just dipping them in a bucket of water! Good thinking!

Well i got my new producer now which i purchased off another member of the site. I will set that all up tomorrow and let you guys know how it goes.
Now that I know i can use my previously cut clones and transfer them over to a hydro setup I will be having new updates pretty soon.
