It's definitely more root growth space but you will likely run into issues with it retaining water and causing problems with the roots. You need water drainage which as it is now will F up your floors. So either get a planting pot (3-5 gall(11-18 liter)) or add drainage holes at the bottom of the tub. You've already transplanted once now so up to you on how you move forward. But something really needs to change there.

yeah the drainage was something i originally didnt think about but drilling holes in the bottom wouldnt be hard now a catch for the water im mulling over.... but hay if i have to transplant to a new pot it will be time number 3.... and she is still small enough so long as i dont kill her.

I didnt want to be the bearer of bad news but cats out the bag. This auto has very very high chance of not being worth it. Its not "so long as i dont kill it". Autos work on a set clock. A huge chunk of precious time has already been wasted. There is a certain minimal level of effort you are going to need to put into this. That is if you want something to smoke at the end. A house plant pot at a hardware store cant be more than a few dollars.

Just understand since autoflowers have such a short life that the more you disturb them and stunt them the harder it is for them to overcome it. So if you decide to repot her again, be as gingerly as possible.

There is a video on YouTube about the best grow light for cheap and the GeryLove is mentioned. The guy showed that the light intensity was actually less than advertised so watch your plant and if it continues to stretch up then turn up the intensity a notch or lessen the distance. Again, the less stress for autoflowers the better. Same with adding too much nutrients or over watering. Don’t over do either.

repot no..... im on day 8 i think ill drill at the bottom and elevate this sucker....
plant remains just under 4" tall. and the 2 new leafs are getting bigger. so far so good.
nutrients confuse me.... ive read afew threads and my brain goes huh? so ive only watered her like 3 times twice well in the small white pot and and once shortly after the repot. and now i wait till i can elevate and drill some holes in the bottom. then its off the floor slightly. learning as i go... unfortunately my audhd has me all over lmao!

It’s not all lost. Autoflowers do not work on a time clock they grow and mature on a bio-physiological feedback loop just like any other living organism. That’s why if you read grow diaries of the same strain by the same breeder they don’t all mature at exactly the same age. Because not every grower does the exact same thing. Now will you get the most you can out of her? No, probably not. Will you get something as long as you don’t kill her? yes probably so. Whether the effort is worth it? That’s up to you. Also the experience you’ll gain will help for next time whereas if you shit can it now you’re surely not getting shit out of it.

I like the initiative to just take the leap. Lets get you right before wasting more money on seeds. If you would like to follow along with what Im doing and maybe pick up some tips and tricks. I'll copy and paste my "step by step" I use for my autos.

Im not going to paste it here but there is a step by step in that thread. Its super simple. mix soil, plant seed, water for 4-6 weeks, feed her, water until harvest. A little more complicated but thats the basics.

With auto flowers and a half assed decent soil you won’t even need to add nutes for a few weeks. If you used a prepackaged soil that has delayed fertilizer in it you may not need to add nutes at all. Adding some bloom nutes after she’s flowered will help but you got to get her there first then cross that bridge. That gives you some time to read up on it and make decisions.

Water when she needs water. You can use a meter or stick your finger in the dirt both are just as accurate. At this age just focus on keeping her moist and not soaking wet. She won’t need much water at all right now. Start with maybe a half cup gently poured around her about 1-2 inches from the base of her stem. When the surface is dry again do it again. As she grows you need to increase it. Again just keep her alive and use that time to read and catch up.
