Try number four. Let's go

Veg area looking decent. No transplant shock. Buckets look big and plants small. Still waiting for big plants to dry out some. Gonna up pot them and throw em in the box.

Big plants were dry enough to transplant.
Took some pictures of the roots. So 10 weeks of life for them. Might let em go until 12 weeks before I flip. I'm not in a hurry I guess and they all fit under the ks-3000. These buckets hurt the pro mixx bin. Gotta fill the bin back up now.

The room and the plants look great!

I see you were transplanting outdoors, I’m assuming because you can’t mix your soil indoors? I get it, we do what we have to, but that may be a recipe for disaster in the warmer weather, mainly due to insects.
Is it possible to mix the soil outside and then bring it in to the plants to transplant indoors? Bugs are less likely to jump into your soil than onto your plants. Just an idea, it sucks getting bugs in an indoor grow.

Keep growing! 👍

The wife don't want the mess inside the house. She has this weird thing about dirt getting in the drain.lol.
I hear you on the bugs. I have to do some cleaning in the garage. Once garage is clean do dirty shit in there. I got aphids on try 3.

Not laughing at your aphids but the wife not wanting the dirt down the drains : )

How long do you have to wait for the ground to warm up?

Veg area still looking good. Got a table set up and got the light further away from big plants.
Shit it was right on them set at 50%.
Now ks-3000 set at 50% 18 inches away from smaller plants. Didn't measure distance between bigger plants but they look happier with a little room.

Bro gotta tell her to chill, you will continuously get bugs otherwise ✌️

I was going to suggest maybe a “transplanting tent” : ) keep the dirt and mess contained in there and could easily vacuum or sweep it all up : )

But yeah Dad, tell your old lady it isn’t just you saying you need to transplant indoors! Ahaha. If i ask nice for you think she’ll abide? 🤣 ✌️

Thats her other weird fear Bear. That I will never be happy and my grow will never stop growing! I think she's smart for that one. I'm already thinking about another tent and light for seedlings alone! Hahaha 🤣

Oh she’s definitely on to you!🤣 you just gotta sell it as a “this is for you babe” kind of thing😆🤣

That’s a tough spot to be in, but if she’s a good woman you gotta keep her happy too 🥰.
With mine, it’s the smells and the time I spend with them, so I installed carbon filters and try to be as efficient as possible, like feeding with dry organics, just watering takes a fraction of the time when you’re not measuring and PH’ing everything. It also helps to be ready to do something in the room at any given time, so when her girlfriends or family call I can run into the room and have a half an hour or more when she’s already distracted. Otherwise she’s “waiting” for me and getting annoyed (jealous?🤣) about the amount of time I’m with them instead of her lol!

I recently did something similar with my garage because I have some males I’m trying to collect pollen from. They needed to be separated from the other indoor plants and it’s still cold here too. I whipped up a wooden closet from some wood scraps to give them a better chance against the mice and bugs that will likely find their way in there.

So, good luck with your garage! It will improve your grow by being safer and will reduce the stress (on you) of transplanting and most importantly, will keep the wife happy! 🥳

Ok I got a question. So my bigger plants are 11 weeks old tomorrow. Plan was to throw them in the box to flower at 12 weeks. I figured 3 months is a good veg time. But I'm now thinking what's 1 week going to do.

In my opinion, not much difference at all. At 2 to 3 weeks old, a week is significant but I don’t think it makes a noticeable difference at 2 to 3 months. Toss them in the flower room now and be a week closer to harvesting 👍

Happy 420/Easter.
Shits looking pretty decent in the veg area.
5 weeks of life. Gonna top them soon and wait for the bud arms to grow some.

Got the box fired up and rocking. 2nd day of flower. Not shit going on yet. SE-5000 set at 50% didn't measure the distance but it looks like there's more than 2 ft plenty of room to stretch out.
