So far so good with my Hispanic plant. We have communication issues at times, but overall the plants health seems to be on point Thank God for Microbes LOL. Can't wait to see her blow up even more as long as weather permits. LOL :D

Very pleased with how well Bio-Hydrate and Box Biology is holding water and water rention.. I am not having to water any plants everyday even in the 4 gal containers. Great Rain Water Usage even in the heat of the summer. :D

My buddy Husky has been doing well ever since the fight to the death with that fat caterpillar. She is still growing at a great rate considering her conditions.
Lots of new flowers opening and I suspect she is getting to the stage of blowing up. :D

LMAO. :D I hope so then maybe these winds will keep from throwing from nursery pots across my yard in high winds. hahah. :) Glad I got a future surprise for my plants to keep the incidents of stop drop and roll to a bare minimum LOL.

I have noticed significantly less spotting with Bio-Hydrate Version 2 and Nano Breathe and I am not doing any ph'ing when mixing up normal drench applications of any BOX products. Very pleased with results in soil-less media and not dragging a PH pen around. LOL

Nice collection of peppers Moto, got me all jelly. Here is my plants finally getting some nice normal growth after the bug attack
First pic is the gsc plants. They got the worst of it for sure, the second pic is of the terminator OG. Forgot to take one of the grape ape.:facepalm:

They are looking happy now for sure. Looks like you got some huge girls on your hands LOL. :) Going to be fun to see them when they really start producing buds. Is this your first run with them? If not what kind of smells you get from Teriminator Og? I had a Grape Ape Pheno and it smelled and looked great. Just lost it in a clone incident, but it was my fault. Keep us updated on your grow friend. :D

Hands full for sure. Been like 4 years since I've grown plants this size. I need to actually sit down and think about how I'm going to keep training these babies lol.They are looking happy now for sure. I've ran the gsc and grape ape. But the terminator OG is a new one to me. The guy showed me pics of it flowering that I got it from. Looked fire so we shall see.

sweet potato starting to blossom, an my peanut plant, lol I have 3, never seen em grown or anything but sounded fun!!! Let's hope, then u can't really tell well, but pumpkin vine is over 30 feet out of ground an travelin!!!! Lol lol bring on jack o laterns magic!!! Then..... yes, it takes some getting used to for some people. Normally those people imagine they should always be doing better than another, but fail to understand, space is of little value if you dont know how to capitalize on it. Yet, have a discussion about Wall St and wider inequality between staff and say the owners of WalMart and they will be ranting with the best of um, go figure.... I struggle to understand why people seek to externalize their own failures, but its been a model for sometime now, and its not restricted to growers of course. There is always an initial period of shuffling while alleged, more concerned stakeholders, come to terms with the widespread lack of interest in the size of their dick. :-)I wish the jobs I got hired at were like this. Shit even the partnerships I got into growing would have worked great this way if the persons house we grew at didn't act like they ran the show

Russet, Cyclamen or Broad mites are very sensitive to heat. They are more difficult to control in winter than in summer due to lower greenhouse temperatures. Some ideas....I'll kill those kids without mercy or regret :badboy: threads going nice Moto keep up the good growing! My plants are loving life again, hopefully I can keep the russet mites back through flower. I'll share some pics after work
- Hot Water Treatment: Soaking infested plants in water held at 111 - 115 degrees F for 15 minutes will destroy these mites without damage to most plants. (Not recommended for Medical or Hemp growers: use Hot Air Treatment)
- Hot Air Treatment: This method can only be used in contained areas (areas or rooms that can be sealed) by raising the air temperature to 115 degrees F for 15 to 20 minutes. Best results were reported with 100% humidity using (at least) two circulation fans to create some vortex1. As all eggs may not be terminated using this method, weekly repeat applications may be necessary to achieve desired results.
Note 2 for Cannabis Growers: efficacy of heat treatment is directly proportional to your canopy density: as canopy density increases, heat treatments will become less effective as pest insects will simply retreat into new node formations. Heat treatments are most effective while in veg cycle.
Mite Treatment: Diatomaceous Earth (DE)
Diatomaceous Earth is a very cost effective method for controlling pest insects, but has some limitations:
- DE is not target specific. Can not be used with beneficial predator mites in either soil or foliar
- Looses efficacy in high humidity or becomes wet.
- Repeated applications can leave undesirable foliar residue
Mite Treatment: Natural Bio-Pesticides (OMRI Listed)
- Beauveria bassiana (Mycotrol -O) is a fungus which infects insects with a disease known as the white muscadine. When spores of this fungus come in contact with the cuticle (skin) of susceptible insects, they germinate and grow directly through the cuticle to the inner body of their host. The fungus proliferates throughout the insect's body, producing toxins and draining the insect of nutrients, eventually killing it.
- Note: Mycotrol and Botanigard are not specifically listed for Eriophyid or Tarsonemid mites. In this program it is used primarily for the control of vectors: Thrips, Whitefly, etc. that rapidly transport the pest throughout your garden. However, scouting at numerous sites has shown high instances of white muscadine infection in both families of mites.
- Heat-killed Burkholderia spp. strain A396 (VENERATE XC) is an advanced bio-insecticide and features multiple modes of action and is effective against a wide variety of chewing and sucking insects and mites yet easy on beneficial insects and bees. The unique and novel modes of action will complement and improve integrated pest management and insect resistance management programs.
- Chromobacterium subtsugae (Grandevo) is naturally derived from a newly discovered bacterium, commonly known as Achromacil™, which produces a number of compounds that contribute to the creation of complex modes of action, resulting in a potent biopesticide that is highly active against labeled insects and mites. Control of pests is achieved by unique combinations of repellency, oral toxicity, reduced egg hatch, and reduced fecundity (ability of pest to reproduce). Has also been shown to maintain populations of most beneficial and introduced biological controls.
- Isaria fumosorosea (=Paecilomyces fumosoroseus), the active component in PFR-97, is a naturally occurring fungus which infects many insect and mite pests that occur on foliage and other aboveground plant, as well as many soil-dwelling pests.
- Foliar:
- Amblyseius andersoni (Amblyseius (Neoseiulus) andersoni)*
- Amblyseius cucumeris (Ambly-C: Amblyseius cucumeris)
- Amblyseius californicus (SPICAL: Neoseiulus (Amblyseius) californicus)
- Amblyseius swirskii (SWIRSKI-MITE: Amblyseius swirskii)
- Scholarly Articles: "Biological control of broad mites with the generalist predator Amblyseius swirskii"
- Note*: A.andersoni take a while to get established, especially if using sachets. Schedule your orders so the first application delivery arrives 2-3 weeks before buds begin to form.
- Soil:
- Nematodes and soil predators: If a suitable host is not present (year-round), female mites may semi-hibernate (Diapause) in the soil until a host becomes available. This makes them susceptible to attack by predatory beneficial insects and nematodes.
- In containers or indoor use Steinernema feltiae (ENTONEM)
- In open planting areas use Heterorhabditis bacteriophora (LARVANEM) or both if pest pressure is high.
- Hypoaspis miles: (ENTOMITE-M) Predatory soil mite.
- Rove Beetle: (Dalotia (Atheta) coriaria), a soil-dwelling predatory beetle
