Unless down, I don’t know what you are talking about.on the first pic, is the leaves supposed to be clawing like that? nevertheless keep it up
Yes coco, with jus weed leaf and stems to feed the soil, maybe some gypsum also. No bottles, will be used, just organic alfalfa pellets, and weed leaf and stems. No, I did not read all of it.
I hope your not using coco in the organic grow. Coco absorbs magnesium and will throw off your organics, which by the way, you should not be feeding any bottled nutes to.
If you're feeding it, it's not organic, no matter what the label says.
If you're keeping a database of measurements and readings on a daily basis, you're going to have some great data in a year or so. Lots of experiments going on in there. You might hookup with @Frankster, he does a lot of this stuff as well.
My bad, I misread the first time. I gues you are talking about the pic where it is showing the pH is way off. I just grabbed that coco from outside, didn't check it first, pretty sure just getting rained on dropped it so far, I added limestoneon the first pic, is the leaves supposed to be clawing like that? nevertheless keep it up
Also, I am curious to see any actual science that says plants have different pH requirements for different mediums that they are grown in. Do you have a link to any science on the topic or have you tested it yourself?
Nothing recent, ~just started growing again, switched to organics from hydro, got messed up seeing bad pH charts for soil and then my tap water being nuts, set me back a few months nearly, somehow. Trying not to think about it. I did just harvest a few recently but nothing photogenic. Soon I will have some good plants again, worth taking pictures of. I will also share my custom wick irrigation setup - no electricity, automated, watering determined by plant, bottom feeding, on 24/7.Do you have any veg/flower pics? Curious to see how this madness ends up lol
Here is what I have right now, just pulling it together.
here is my Hopi tobacco plant and Santa Fe pepper. The front two are a sun flower and 2 gg4’s I guess, in some of the worst soil I have in my back yard. The pH of the back yard soil has been glued to nearly 7 for a month of spraying vinegar on it, but I feel like it’s almost starting to come down. The stuff is so terrible that little pot weighs so much compared to any ‘good soil’.

Here is the grow master, I was pretty sure all these were dead a couple weeks ago because they got super stunted when sitting in 7.0pH water for ~4 days for my second failed germination experiment. They all just popped again maybe a week ago and I just started watering them yesterday via the res and trying to do so and have the pH sit right, should be an easy grow once that is dialed in.

here is my leaf water test @1.5 days. I have some other tap water out, it’s 7.5 after sitting out ~4 days now. Pretty sure this still rises after being removed from the leaves, so, I’m going to let it sit another day.

well, good luck! You gonna have your hands fullBeen getting a lot of request for pics of what I have going now. I’m not sure but I’m finally getting all my soil pH dialed in again, taking forever since soil is (was), taking forever to dry.
~everything 12/12 now, half outside in the sun, half indoors to save on electricity and because sun is the best light. Seedlings get extra light at night to help them stay above 60F and for a little grow boost.
All the non cannabis plants and male cannabis plants will be going outside as I run out of space and autos will be going outside in a month or so for the rest of the summer, just because why not? Basically free to grow outdoors.
around 50 plants now, maybe 15-20 males, think I’m gonna start more seeds tomorrow, in addition to the other I already have germinating. I’d like to harvest and smoke 1 ant a day.
