Update on different stuff

plants, mostly females unless to young to tell. Up potted some today.

males and a couple females. I guess the one got underwatered, I thought the soil was always wet though. Watered it real good and see tomorrow

Lot of request from all of my wonderful friends (none of which would enter a 2gallon pot into a 1 gallon pot challenge (I think)), for a night/getting dark shot, so here it is.

And the males

Got some other stuff floating around but I feel like I’m low on plants again somehow so I got some photoperiods in veg to take clones from in a week or so then put on 12/12 ASAP.

Gents. Not many at the moment, hopefully soon but it looks like the photo plants might not be going into flower because the days are to long.

Dudes, I just found my Acapulco gold seeds from 10 years ago nearly. I thought I lost them all, 4 left. Fingers crossed they got some goodness left in them.

I got them from a dude off Craigslist, he drove a Subaru an pretty sure had a dog and a giant leaf also. If not that, his car looked like it housed a dog. Based off any or all of that, I should be in for a treat if the go.

Bad news everyone!

That’s after a week in dirt, so, most likely they are goners...

Desperate times call for desperate measures, so...

I did what any reasonable person would do. I put them in a bag that is known to germinate seeds well and I also wrote ‘GO!!!’, on the bag, so, the seeds will know it’s go time.

Not sure what else to do or say.

Also, I blew on them to keep them from molding and for good luck when switching them over.

Pretty sure thee Acapulco gold seeds are gone but on the bright side...

After this, I’m gonna give my Acapulco seeds another try, I have had them sitting drying out

Here are some seeds I pulled off a plant early, 17 days to germinate. I think that’s my new longest. Normally this would be tossed a week ago at least it just hasn’t been in the for a while.

On the germination topic, I used to think seed size was good indication of if it will pop/is better but here are nearly the smallest seeds I have with tails at ~36 hours in a paper towel. Yes, I have gone full circle and back to paper towel germination, until I know all my stuff is dialed in really nice.

Siberian auto seeds, interested to see how they compare with some of my other autos once they get going, few weeks

Almost there guys.

Some of the younger ones should be really well start through finish now.

Almost all different plants and all 12/12 start to finish.

Whole tent uses ~400 watts at light on.

Bad news is I have no trees and nothing here is ready for week and a half at best.

Gonna start smoking my shoes I think

Also gonna start the seeds from my gg 4 plant pictured in post #46. No idea what pollinated it, so it will be nice to see what it does, only two seeds from it, hoping for at least one female.

Wanted to take note of my tobaccos before their tags go missing. Front row left to right - Makhorka Shtambur, Kentucky Burley, Bolivian Black, Gavuana Gold, Japanese Tab. Back row left to right - Virgiana Tab, Ohio Dutch.

Tomatoes left to right - Apricot, Amethyst, Ananas, Beef Steak.

Thanks and yeah it’s getting there. Little while till stuff is ready to eat and smoke. Still got a bunch of different plants floating around to look at and a few things to nibble on.


Here is a Durban Poison, really hoping it’s a she but time will tell.

Oh that reminded me, I got a Durban Poison clone earlier and I think I have pollen incase this is a female. Now I hope it’s a guy so I can get more pollen for the one from elemental wellness.

I have a new way of watering now. I have mastered the universe, once again.

I willl put a pic of the clone Durban soon and I just recalled I do have a picture. Just not a good one.

Got 4 clones and 2 teens. A Zookies, Durban Poison, sour diesel teen... Dosido, Panama Gold and something else with Fire Og in it is the biggest teen. It was buy 1 get 1 for $1. $7 clone, $15 teen. Though the total was nearly $90 I think

Yeah they are still chillin, no roots yet, think I may have made the coco just a tad to moist from the start but not positive. Pulled one out and it’s starting to get the thing at the bottom that comes before the roots (I think). No bad growth or smells, that’s always positive.

Yeah just be careful with over moistening and /heat/RH in the 90s to avoid rot

Learned it really does not take alot of water at the beginning

I’d like to try growing my own tobacco at some point

For sure and thanks. Just about done making every possible mistake again and got stuff dialed in. Over and under each a few times.

Thanks again, I’m really happy with the tobaccos gorgeous and smokeable. They can be a little finicky to get going but after that it’s hard to mess them up.

Also got these ones going in this thing, first time using one but I have dwc in the past, starting with clones though.

Just a pool of water with an air stone, I feel like it’s going well after a few days, tip of roots at top of water or else they look overwatered.

Anything that looks overwatered, I have been pulling up and it seems to help.

Plain water ph’ed, maybe a touch iodine in honor of a.j. Lol

Sorry just noticed this and yeah I have a fem in flower, taking a pic now, tent was really hot last couple weeks but really good now.

I think it won’t fully flower at ~14 hours or so, most other stuff was, on 12/12 now. Just took a couple clones from it (another attempt), also in case she is a winner. Things gonna be out of the roof in a minute.

Here is the only seed I got off that gg4 plant that fits in your hand after being harvested, growing now. Just want to get a clone in if it smokes like gg, the weed it came from did.
