How to pick a male for breeding

whats up farmers i want to ask you experienced breeders a question i wanna start learning to breed my own but have a major question how do you go about picking the right male to breed to or should i say what do you look for in a male when selecting him then after you pick him how do you keep him around

Start reading up on genetics, breeding, and know your basic biology.

To answer your question, you pick a male(s) based on the criteria you set about in your breeding objectives, whatever those are.

Keep him around like any other female cut....just make sure he doesn't throw pre-flowers!

I've always been told to look for strong, uniform, stinky males. If you have the option of one that produces a few balls to one that produces a lot, go with the one that produces more. Keep your breeding goals in mind while selecting like Inuit said and you should be fine.

Also, you do not always need to keep the male alive. Properly stored pollen can keep for a year or more.
