i've been thinking of getting these. looks like they'll do a good job:

Yep, contaminants outside the bag get alot of people in trouble.
The way dogs work is that they smell every individual odor, not like one big odor. So if you made soup, instead of smelling "soup" like humans do, the dog would smell chicken broth, and tomatoes and potatoes and everything else on an individual level.
Who are you Barry Cooper? I swear you are quoting him word for word, from his videos, never get busted again. Lol.
$25 per bag? No thanks.
That's why I press the button before they compress all the way down. I forgot to press the button on one of my bags recently. I was afraid I had made a Bag-O-Kief (Kief-O-Matic?), but nothing could have been further from the truth. And that's the truth, truth!I saw these gals at the HT show. It is basically a turkey bag that is black.
No light degradation, and hidden contents. http://grogrogadgets.com/
I picked some up. I like em. Nice gals from Cali who own the biz, too. 10.99 shipped for 5.
Bigger quantities for cheaper are on their site as well.
I have a vac sealer too, but I am not big on the compacting it does to some fluffier varieties.

ya dude..the longer they are in there the more you can smell. I've vac sealed a few zips of some really loud wifi..vacuumed and sealed the night before..even being careful not to touch the outside and use gloves; the next day I could easily smell the funk through the plastic. Best advice..double seal them right before you travel.has anyone ever heard of vacuum packing / sealing not working ? the $100 foodsaver is quality enough ? to do the job comfortably ? any more pros / cons with vacuum sealing ? thx...elk..
