Type of yeast

What type of yeast extract do you use in a compost tea? Brewers yeast? Nutritional Yeast? Marmite?

I want to make a transition tea and i have read that yeast is a good addition to one.

Thanks. I am a new grower and am trying to learn to grow with living soil and compost The whole organic thing. Brewers yeast is what I was hoping for since I can get it at the store.
