Where did you source your UW? The indica pheno gets so frosty it sheets with resin. The sativa one not so much. The one you describe doesn't sound like the one we were smoking in 98 around the University.. it was super frosty on the level of the original White Widow that was around, without the florescent green tone, more dark olive green in color.

In the 90's I started growing because I couldn't stand all the BC bammer going around Seattle. I was gifted 3 strains from some Vietnamese OG that got them from an old hippy in W Seattle. The real Purple Urkle almost black in colour , the Williams Wonder that I still Jones for that smelled like rotten papaya, and the UW a fluorescent green limey tasting frosted banger. Is this possibly the dub you had? How about the Space Needle Kush on da Southside. I remember that hash plant from Oregon going around the UW also.

Just learned to post a pic . woot. To bad old and shitty from 92 . But you can see it on the floor to the left in front and center . The 2 shortys with no center colas looking. Just arms like the pic posted in this thread to left in the pic of 3 i think kinds. my avatar is a early in bud u.w. but pic is not good and came out bluer than really is. My avatar is just a little cola grow in hydro from my first grow which was ghost from graham area and thats were i actually got my u.w.in o2. from one of the 4 people the guy handed it out to after holding it a couple years.. The mom had big fat maple leaf looking leafs in size. Hard to pull off with long ass stems on the leafs. You can tell how short she is by how the other plants tower over her. Shit barely taller than the fan sittin there. I grow a momma about almost 7 " in a 19 ga. tote indoor . from ashort 4x4 not as tall as those plants in pic. Short thick ass stem she has .

Got any pictures of what the 'Real Purple Urkle" looks like? My version....aka Rainbow looks like this. It's far superior medical grade material although not necessarily high in the numbers. I have had it test all the way from 14% to 22% depending on the lab. It is originally from California.

lets see if i can remember all the flavors after growing it for years. A couple of the flavors only appeared once but i noted them like bg and red hots and lemon which is probably from my train too .lol. . .Bubblegum,red hots,pepper,lemon,yellow grapefruit.Pepperoni stick from sittin next traiwreck so long ..,Pine pinesole,skunk and amonia are usaully the flavors. Lets not forget the weird medicinal flavor before cure.

Im a white boy that grew u.w. in burien but since since 02. lol. I gave it to some cambodians in my family too in early 2000s but they didnt keep it. They were into wheight..lol. Its not lime green what so ever either .. And thats not my pic . lol. Had to borrow it. Mine comes from u.w. mid 80s. And was the one around in the 70s too. It was hard to come by . I dont know who had it that early though . Theres been a few liberations of different u.w.s

@StoneyPufnstuff ~ Just pulled a nice tree of your Hashplant down last week...monster colas, very frosty, and finished roundabout the first of October...with a very funky smell...looking forward to tasting how she turned out when she cures up. Also, got some beans of the Hashplant x Bubba with yer name 'em Stoney...could be some very interesting girls in them beans.

Oregone has alot of u.w. for sure too. I passed a shitload out there when oregone green free forum allowed outsiders. Id go to their meeting back in early - mid 2000's. I know if i could get on thier board and remember names i could get her back.

I know for sure, 100% it is around. The U Dub has been in my circle for a long time.
I know a grow in Ridgefield that has her in veg at the moment.

Thanks man, been growing it for a really long time and in fact brought that particular version up here from California myself under the name Rainbow back in 04 0r 05. I've been passing it out and sharing it far and wide with as many folks as want to grow it. There are probably 200 people growing this version of the Urkle in the area now alone. It's not the strongest available (Tests from 14-22% Thc) but it's medicinal qualities are superior. It has great Karma surrounding it and lots and lots of serious medical folks have enjoyed it over the years.

Agreed, some great genetics in there. I got a chance to run the Cherry Pie for the last three years or about a dozen cycles but decided to give it up as it seems to pop yellow flowers on day 63 like clockwork. Never any seeds and it is far superior smoking but no matter what I did, I just seemed to see yellow flowers right about day 63. I finally reluctantly let it go since I had a version with a flaw in it.

I know the latest craze is the Gorilla Glue #4 with a cross of the Chemsis and the Chocolate Diesel, I just finished the fist run of it and have a quarter of the next to runs dedicated to it. It smokes incredibly and I can see why it's the new "GSC" here it is at 45 days.

Me and him visited mrfixit a couple years ago trying to get her back. Sequoiacrone unfortunately lost it while Tuck was going to court and she in the hospitol . Think i gave some to cruzin56 way back when o.g.f. was just gettin started in a trade. I been looking for Goldeyes which seams impossible .lol. She gives out u.w. selfed seeds as gifts to people. I hooked her up too . A couple peeps are dead now. I dont know if Tillerman still has her. Gave some to J orginkids buddy in oregone but they lost it in 05-6 . He went to prison i hear too . I gave some to Paul Stanford on the cannabis comman sense show too . Hes so bizzy and with my anziety i dont want to bother him. first thing he said after growing her was "small plant " lol. So does she look like my pic smokey ? im mobile and can drive around again . I want her back so badly. I gave some to my buddies brother down thier about 3 years ago in grants pass. too where thier watchin the weed but no luck yet . Yet i know its there . lol. The U Dub we have is super dense. Frosty as hell. Earthy smell. Dark yellowish purple leaves late in flowering. Buds are a darker color with a purple undertone. Not the lime green color of most stains these days.
This a plant is squat and more Indica leaning.
