UC, MPB difference?

Hey all,

I'm currently growing with the UC, second run comming up. I have also been reading the MPB thread alot. I don't really understand the main differences between these two. Could someone explain?

yes I would like to know also, and what is the biggest reason someone would fail in the mpb's, is it root rot or ?

i thought mpb pushes water where uc pulls water. Or there is a high chance of a flood in mpb if the pump breaks

"search" is your friend.

and no floods if the pump goes out in either system. for the mpb, you put a check valve in line.
