Uk outdoor grow

Hey all, I tried growing last summer for the first time not knowing anything about it and I done awful (if you look on my profile you’ll see how far I got with like 6/7 seeds) I suppose I defiantly learned a lot and my biggest problem was I just wanted to do well to much to the plants all the time, but in the end I was getting closer to we’re I needed to be but summer came to an end, so this is an early post just wanted some advise when I should start germinating in uk and when I should move plants outside as I’m trying to make the most of the next summer any advise would be appreciated
