Attention Farmers , I want to create the perfect climate needed to store seeds .What do the professional seed collectors/breeders use? I heard a fridge is good but what about the temps? Can a small dorm fridge work? I seem to find no real discussion on this or haven't searched long enough. Any info or pics are great .

Do you store it in the fridge with a dessicant like rice?

It seems if you want to keep seeds for around a year, the fridge is good. The best option is to dry your seeds to under 15% moisture, store them with a Dessicant ten freeze them (freezing with more moisture could kill the seeds). Supposedly you cn keep seed viable in this way for up to 50 years!
