Howdy Folks,

I need a bit of advice.

I am concerned that my plants are under watered at the moment. The lower leaves are drying out and getting hard and crusty, does this sound right?

My soil very dry in some containers.

I also have a bit of nutrient stress, so some of the leaves are curling or 'clawing' down on me, which makes me unsure whether it is the nut stress or the dehydration that has them getting brittle and drying out...

I can take a few pics if needed.

This prob seems mad dumb to many of you, but I welcome the insight that this group has.

peace

Pics will always get you the answeres you are looking for and even better starting a thread in the rite location I would start in the Cannabis Infirmary...JACK

halfdef, If you are not using RO you should have your water tested to see what is in it, it sounds like you could have excess sodium in your water.

cool, thanks for the insight. I have been slacking on bubbling my water before I water, maybe that will help a bit...

Do you have a schedule for watering? Don't water with nutes every time if you are. Do water, nute, water...what nutrients do you use? Are you flowering? If so, how many weeks into flowering are you? What size containers are you using? What strain? What kind of soil? Lots of questions lol I just want to understand wats going on so that I can give you a better explanation. Pictures would be the best thing. If you're flowering in the early stages like 2-4 weeks and it's the larger bottom leaves that don't get light then that happens naturally and you shouldn't worry about that. If it's getting purple spots in the middle of the leaf blades then it's telling you to give it more phosphorus if new growth or growth toward the top of the plant is being affected and you notice more every day then you might have a bigger problem. Probably a pH thing if you're following a nute regiment. Hope this helps.

I really need some help. I transplanted them a week ago and they are doing badly since then.. they don't look like they are about to die.. but they are headed in the wrong direction..

PLEASE GIVE ADVICE!! I WILL KEEP THIS ACTIVE AS I GO SO STAY TUNED!! THANKS

It looks like a pH problem to me. What is your pH?

-Supa

what type of soil are they in? i'd start with an immediate flush with salt leaching solution.

major nute buildup in the soil probably because of whacked ph and temps that wont allow them to drink anything anyways.. they look cold and overfed with a mild case of spidermites although i hope im wrong about the mites. throw out all ur nutes and get some fresh gear maybe a new ph tester oakton make a decnt one

hello folks,

I reposted my thread in the cannabis infirmary, thank you all for the advice. I have flushed and I am using Cal-Mag to boost those nutes... things are looking much better. I will post pics on the thread in the cannabis infirmary, check there if you are interested. peace

im not even sure where to start on that. good luck to ya. somekind of nute loc or ph. keep taking care of them. meight not want to take your eye off them.
