Understanding NPK ratios in nutrients

Think I already know the answer to this question but I need to get it off my mind
For example if I had. Npk ratio of 4-4-4 and halfed the recommended dosage at i right to think it still stays at 444 rather then halfing to 2-2-2

My understanding is that it’s relative to the volume. 4-4-4 means the container holds 4% nitrogen and equal percentages of the other two. So it stays 4-4-4 until you dilute it with something else.

I’ve been using FF Big Bloom. It’s EWC and Bat Guano.

It has almost no NPK and is useful throughout the grow .
