Unknown Seeds

I got a batch of mixed seeds from a friend of mine but they don't know what strains the seeds are from. I am growing but have no clue what strains i am growing. Is there a actual way ti identify the strain by the seed?

Not really you do not know the origins of both male and female that produced the seed .

Nope and it really doesn't matter man

Nope. She saved the seeds from her batches that she'd buy. And half of the time, the distributers here dont even know the strains they are selling. Nor do they take it seriously enough to find out. I only knew two distributers who would know the strains they had.
