With September around the corner we are getting closer to harvest. My photos are at the end of week 3 going into week 4 of flower. 2 photos are 2 weeks behind. And I'm in week 6 for the autos. One plant is recovering from a nute burn( don't know how since it been fed compost tea from my compost pile) and I started to feed her some zinc and calcium. The smells are coming in and it's a bouquet of sweet fruits and skunk. the desert cultivate are definitely loving life.

Didn't load all my pictures that I have. Didn't even get all my plants. And yes you are very correct. I'm going to be stuck on the couch trimming for the next month and a half. It feels like when they come into harvest I definitely need probably buy some more 18 gallon totes to keep it all in. I've never had this large amount before so I'm now going to have to figure out the best way to only dry but cure on my flower. And of course this year I'm going to buy one and bubble hash machines and try to make bookoos of hash from all the trim and popcorn bud.

Very nice! Love the branches you used for caging the ladies. We're cutting down a larch tree soon and saving all the branches to try and do the same.
Reminds me of the Victory Garden show on PBS decades ago. 🙂

I’m with you on the hash! And keep your rain gear ready. Looks like you may be out there in October with a few of them.

I'm pretty sure that the future number one and my triple h are going to be the ones that take the longest. My future number one is definitely heavy sativa and my triple h is one of the plants that are about 2 weeks behind everything else along with a couple of my clones. But yes, I already am anticipating the wet season being a challenge. Push come to shove it gets too bad with the weather. I can always take some of my clear plastic and just kind of drape it over the top of them to help prevent all the rain saturating my plant. Or I'm just going to go out there like I've been doing with a leaf blower and just knocking off all the excess water if need be. Plus since I'm in New England is going to start getting pretty cool outside. So all the purple is going to come into my plants and they're going to be beautiful. There's something about purple bud and purple plants that always appeal to me. I know it doesn't mean it makes it any better. I just like the colorations.

Yeah I can’t wait to see the color! And all you can do is deal with the adversity as it comes. That’s what makes it so fun!

Yeah I found it to be quiet entertaining to go with the weather pattern. Believe it or not. Only thing I really do worry about though is we have moose and deer around and I am so paranoid that with the colder weather coming they're going to start eating up a lot and the moose are so tall and so big that they can reach over my fencing with ease in just munch on whatever they want. And they're so big. I'm not going to go out there and try to chase them off cuz I consider them to be murder horses. So yeah, so far I haven't really had a wildlife problem. I usually take a bunch of snakes that I find in the yard. Corn snakes, rat snakes, garter snakes, Reuben snakes and I put them in my cannabis garden to help control the past and I also been catching a lot of ladybugs and putting them out on my plants to help get rid of other pests and I learn that cicadas are really good. So anytime I see a cicada I try to put them out there and I noticed that the caterpillars and other insects at ate a couple leaves is pretty much practically gone since I've been putting the beneficial animals and bugs in there. Sorry for rambling on so much, this stuff just gives me super excited.

I hear you brother! Around here it’s bone dry. So A pot plant is like an oasis in the desert. Have to worry about a few things munching on them. But thankfully, not moose! L O L

So far I think the only pest problems I really ever had was there's a couple plants that some of them silkworms got on and kind of cocooned a couple of leaves. I don't even know how to describe it, but a couple of the sugar leafs when it was first starting to flower was kind of curled up, almost like a cocoon and when I opened it it was full of silk and silkworms. So I quickly nip that in the butt and scoured all of my plants for any more of the inch worms. And of course I had a couple of plants that had June beetles that was eating some of the leaves along with some caterpillars and ants. But with all the beneficial bugs and organic bug repellent/ pesticide I nipped it in the butt. Thankfully I haven't really seen any aphids. I did see a couple of therps when I first put them out back in June but I haven't seen any since then. And plus, I've also noticed that we have a lot of parasitic wasp around so any larger caterpillars or anything. I'm pretty sure the wasp took care of those.

Right on! I have to go water my girls and head into work. Will be following along. Hang in there!

I'm in Southeast Michigan and have very similar issues with the pest bugs.
How do you handle the mosquitos? We had a dry spell this summer, but this month, after a couple of rains we have clouds of the damn things.
I don't even want to go out and check on my plants. ☹️

Where I'm located deep in the forest and there's a lot of lagoons and small ponds. The only thing I can tell you on the mosquitoes is wear a bunch of bug repellent, and if you can find a bunch of plants that you can plant around your crop that helps repel certain bugs. That would probably be a big help. But we have quite a mosquito problem where I live and they're very ruthless. So far I noticed my beneficial bugs has been keeping the mosquitoes kind of at bay in my garden but they're still there. We also have a s*** ton of frogs where I live and they tend to kind of knock down the mosquito population. But we also have clouds of mosquitoes. They suck. The only other thing I can think of to help knock down the mosquito population is get mosquito experts out there to spray around the property. Granted I'm all big on organics but if I had the money I would have mosquito experts out here spraying around my property line and around the house, there is an outbreak of West Nile virus in my state and I think Zika is still around in my area, I just don't want the mosquito poison anywhere close to my plants. But I live on a three acre property so that would cost me a fortune just to have them come out every month And spray.

I feel for ya. Years ago my Dad built a house on 20 acres of woods, beautiful. But when we would visit, driving up the driveway the mosquitos were at the windows. We'd race to get inside before getting bit. Mom always wondered why we didn't visit more often. 😉

Well, I put on my long pants, denim long sleeve shirt, and netted hat. Sprayed myself with Cutter 40% and went out back to fertilize the girls. Hope they appreciate it. Damn bugs still hovered around me but didn't bite.
We have 2 acres, same as all my neighbors, so me spraying the yard won't change a thing unless everyone else does too. Not gonna happen.
Before I started growing these beautiful plants, just about this time of year I'd start hoping for an early frost. Not anymore.

Our situation is more of the states. Not going to go to conservation land and spread the sprays to kill off the mosquitoes. And since we're so deep in the forest and everything, there's not many people out here. So at the same token they're not going to do anything cuz there's not a big enough population out here. When I say I'm in the forest I mean I'm in the forest. There is moose. There's bear. There's mountain lions bobcats porcupines all them fun critters. So at this point only thing I can keep doing is keeping the bug spray on and if they was to come treat my yard for mosquitoes at any point I'm pretty sure it would knock down a lot of them but will still have a pretty good amount. Plus we have severe horsefly issues out here. Bot flies and horse flies are the other two biggest pests. And of course we have a s*** ton of wild rabbit out here and deer so I'm having to stay vigilant so them f****** don't burrow under my fence and get to my plants, which my plants are big enough. I don't think the rabbits will f*** with them now, but the moose and the deer could definitely reach over to fencing with ease and f****** my whole crop. And I'm not going to go outside and try to run off a moose them. Things will f*** your s*** up quick.

And I thought I had it bad! You definately win the prize. The deer flies are usually bad here too but this year we've had very few. (knock on wood)
A couple of years ago I watched deer reach over the neighbors rabbit fencing and eat his tomatoe plant! Mom said she didn't think anything ate tomatoe plants.(except hornworms)
Had a huge garden a few years ago, then the deer ate my carrots, groundhog took 1 bite from each of a dozen tomatoes, japanese beetles ate my raspberries, squirrels took all my hard won and waited for English walnuts, and then no one wanted my extra vegetables cause EVERYONE else also had extras. Just gave up, and focused on flowers, and herbs.
Hubby couldn't stand not having fresh tomatoes so put a dozen plants in with my flowers. They taste wonderful but I had no luck trying to educate him on how to cut off the suckers, prune the overgrown branches and tie them up properly. (indeterminates) Oh, well. He has taken to canning and making sauce with them so they won't go to waste.

The cannabis has been spared, so far, I chased a deer away one dawn while in my nightclothes, caught a baby groundhog near my patch and scared the sh*t out him, and keep an eye out for the bunny rabbits. I haven't had to put a fence up, yet.
Hope your ladies stay looking wonderful and you get a bountiful harvest.

What strains are these? Where did u get the seeds? Do you have any growing in the ground? Or all pots?

I have Bruce banner, future #1, gelato dream, Carolina blue, HHH, and cantaloupe haze auto.
The autos seed come from a local breeder and as of 30 minutes ago they can be chopped at 60 day seed to harvest but I choose to let them go a little longer. 1 Bruce banner and 1 gelato are in 22gal pots, all the cantaloupe haze are in 5 gallon pot and the rest is in ground.
