Update on that pheno with the purple trichs. Had my first grandchild last week, so life's been a bit too hectic to get on here and post, but thought I'd post an update. I chopped it down today, and wet trimmed and got what I am guessing is only around 3 oz yield. I'll weigh it when it's properly dried. It stayed a small, compact plant, and as it matured the purple trichs seemed to get "buried" in the middle of the buds. As the buds grew bigger, and more trichs filled in, they filled in clear instead of purple. The plant did experience a small bout of calcium deficiency, which was corrected, but I feel it stunted the bud growth a bit. My bad, I wasn't as careful with the calmag this round as I should have been. When I photographed the trichs (I take pics of them with my iPhone 15 on 7.5X zoom, and then take the phone back to normal room light to evaluate their appearance), I found that the "amber" ones had a distinct purple tinge to them. Not the brilliant, jeweled purple from the beginning, but a dusky purple. I can't wait until it's fully cured to really experience the effects, but I am impatient and will try it as soon as it's dried enough to smoke. I am attaching a few pics of the trichs.
