Upside down grow?

Ive always wondered how a marijuana plant would react to being grown upside down like u would with a tomatoe plant,tomatoe plants and marijuana plants are very similar,what would the benifit of doing this be if any?and if so would any of u guys ever try this?I would like to here your opinions.

plants want to grow towards the light, and the roots toward the center of the earth (gravity). Upside down plants are a waste of time.
