I was thinking more along the lines of $8,000 to start up that figure including 3 months rent and $3,000 for framing materials (studs, rock, and mud).

Sound like you got it all figured out then.
So why the f98k are you wasting our time.
"There are no stupid questions, just stupid people", Mr. Garrison.

I started with less than 8K.

Your budget is a wish list if you think your getting in a ware house. You may think just because you want to be a care giver, that you wont deal with all the shit the big boys deal with think again. Your gonna spend over 10K on permits, inspections, re-inspections, and all the costs involved in those delays alone. and thats being conservative. You most likely will need a power upgrade, as all the ware houses with the power you need are taken already. That's gonna be another 10-15k minimum.

Also, you said you dont need to spend money on equipment because you already have it all. Really, a 24 lighter, and you won't have to spend a dime on equipment, really? That's a new one on me. Gotta real good freind on here who has a 24 lighter at one site, and I'm pretty sure he will tell you the weekly budget for consumables and random shit is pretty close to what you think your gonna spend on rent alone.

Not trying to be a dick or anything, just injecting a little reality into the situation. With your budget, listen to chickenjoe, get a spot in the hills lay low, bang out a couple crops, and raise some capitol. And keep watching the laws, they may swing around in your favor. Good luck in whatever you decide:evilgrin0040:

And I started with less than 8k Too, and I still don't have a warehouse

cannaguy....thanks for the insight. Why not Cali? Because Cali aint CO! CO has alot more to offer me than just a safe legal place to peruse my passion. I hope to get at least 40 powder days in my 1st winter. Plus I am huge Broncos fan....just kidding!

mr bojangles...I have been running 36K of bloom for the past 4 yrs straight. I have more hoods, ballast, 4.0 & 5.0 ton excel air and ideal air mini splits, co2 burners and sniffers than I can shake a stick at. A 18 plant 24K room is the break/ downgrade I have been dreaming about for many years now. I am planning on dragging the excess gear out west w/ me with the hopes someone else will be able to put it to use. So don't be so snappy there will probably be some extra gear that will need a loving home.

This thread has gotten pretty far away from its original purpose therfore I am going to ask a mod to take it down or lock it. If anyone has any interest on sharing some insight on good places to look for homes in the Denver/Boulder or Golden area please drop me a pm. If anyone needs to flame or scold me for wanting to move into their turf feel free to drop me a pm as well. I got thick skin. Stay safe and keep it green!

No pow pow in Cali? Try Tahoe, they are getting pounded right now. 13 plus feet over the week! Feet!

Good. You're getting the point. You will be looking for HOMES not WAREHOUSES.
That is really all we were trying to get through your thick skin/skull.
HB-1284 and HB-1043 were passed specifically to deal with the influx of dispensary/warehouse grows [er, people like you], and some say to limit caregiver rights :( .
Now caregivers are having their rights restricted, it is not quite the same as it was 6, 12, 18, even 24 months ago. Be prepared for a few more changes coming soon.

To be honest, if I was looking to set up a big grow, Colorado would be the LAST place I would look, the way the politicians are dicking with our rights every other day. :(

Shit, you haven't heard about Kirkwood? Has broken ALL kinds of records and right now has the snowpack record for the entire NORTHERN HEMISPHERE. That's all continents, all places, entire northern hemisphere. Over 50' is what I've heard.

About 45 minutes from our place, 7,500-10,000' elevation, IIRC.
