Hi, does anyone use humidity packets in buds in a mason jar? I researched and found there are several brands and sizes. I'm not sure I need them, and if I do, what size and humidity % for a quart jar.

I'm using some right now one of them will do a quarter ounce nothing will get wet inside it's like making a humidor for cigars keep them fresh

I use some big jars that weren't airtight that's the only reason I'm using them

I use 62% packs in my jars after drying out and burping. I placed hygrometer cubes in the jars to monitor. I burped every day and watched the humidity drop in stages after burping. When it hit 62 I placed the packs in and put them in a cardboard box in ground contact with my basement floor which is 64 degrees year round.
11 weeks later I burned my last big buds and they were oily and fresh.

People do use them, someone will reply with the pros and cons. My advice is disregard Jimmy Crystal, All his comments on here have been bullshit trolling garbage.
Recently a long timer got showed the door due to a day and a half of raging. The speech patterns and a miss spelled word that must have made it into his spell check used again and again points to someone who ain't over it yet.
That's what the ignore feature is for.

thanks for the advice and yours looks like amazing weed

The only thing amazing is the level of support I got from the growing world here and on other boards.
Saying this allows me to blame all the bad stuff on bad advice 😜
