Scientists developed a WCM based on a europium complex and made a thin-film coating that can be applied to commercially available plastic sheets. Researchers not only demonstrated that the film converts UV light to red light, but they also showed that the film does not block any of the beneficial visible light from the sun. The film was then tested by comparing plant growth using sheets with and without the WCM coating


Brand New tech here.

Just read this and I wonder if this could be a game changer for low cost UV flowering.

interesting.

This is an outdoor thing only - so greenhouse growers might be interested. If you are inside, it would not make sense to use UV lights and then convert to a Red for use on our plants. Outdoors, seems like it might be a good way to extend a growing season.
 
Man this really could benefit green house grows, you're right! Didn't even think of that
