Vacuum sealing – pros and cons

My wife vac seals our weed and stores in blacked lockable totes in our cool store area we had some NL#5 she grew in 1998 as good as the day it was packed n vac . I cold cure my weed as well I live so far south my penguins wear pullovers all summer long ......

The method I use for long term storage is I take a freezer bag full of bud and seal it loose without pulling a vacuum, then I snip a corner off and insert a small hose thats connected to a Co2 tank down to the bottom corner of the bag and purge it with gas, then reseal the snipped corner. Then the sealed and purged bags go into small 3 gallon pails in the deep freeze. The pail is just to protect them against being handled or damaged while frozen.
