The Vallejo Patients’ Coalition is a group of local citizens concerned over the Vallejo City Council’s attempt to regulate medical marijuana dispensaries.
Our mission is to influence the council on its attempt to properly regulate MMDs. Our goal is to make sure the patients’ needs are not overlooked. We aim to promote safe access to responsible medicine for the suffering patients in our community.
As attorneys between the city and the dispensaries duke it out, we want to make sure that the patients in the community get their say. We are concerned about under-regulation as well as over-regulation.
We support at least the 11 dispensaries that were issued business licenses as a result of the heavily supported 2012 ballot initiative, Measure C. We hope to see all of them remain open.
We support the future ballot initiative known as “The City of Vallejo Control and Regulate Medical Cannabis Act” and will be supplying boots on ground support needed to obtain the signatures required to gain proper ballot access.
