vapor barrier to make a 2nd room?

we got a little corner in the basement that ive got the tent in. maybe a 8x8 pocket. its been 24 hours and the 3 weeks old babies got the basement reeking.

ive got a carbon filter on the way and am planning on making my tent in its own room.

whats the best way to build a plastic wall to keep the smell contained? pics would be appreciated. the door is what im wondering about.

Here’s the corner. Seems like just a giant sheet of plastic would keep it contained and isolated. How do I attach the plastic to the walls and ceiling and floor?

That POS tanning bed is getting thrown out and you can see the corner of my black 4x4 tent there. There’s a window too if I need to exhaust but. It’s VERY hot in the summer and VERY cold (-40) in the winter.
