Veg state for cloning and pre flowering

Curious to get others thoughts…

Any difference in either root growth when cloning or in growth state before flowering with lighting set at 18on 6off or just lights on 24/7.?

don’t matter either way, just what your prefer.
roots need wet/ and DRY cycle, airflow.. not cold.

Roots are able to release the pressure from constantly pumping during the light cycle, so the prevailing though is that giving it a rest each day is beneficial to root growth. Root growth is also more of the plants focus during dark, whereas the top growth is more the focus during lights on.
