I currently have 2 rooms on a flip flop that I used to use as two flowering rooms and now am trying to convert to one veg and one flower.
What i was thinking of doing was using the flip flop lighting 12 hours of the day for a vertical veg and than hang a couple t5s over them that would be on for another 6 hours so to keep them out of flower.
It would end up being 2 1kws vertical for 12 hours and some t5s or maybe a 600w or 2 over them for 6 hours when the 1kws go off. I know that it will keep them from flower with the light over head but im worried that using weaker lighting for 6 hours a day will cause some stretching upwards that id like to avoid.
if anyone has any idea on what could happen by doing this, any sort of undesirable side effects id love to find out, thanks everyone
