Hey,

Got a 600w mh with 10,000K. They shipped wrong one so wondering if it's cool to use for seedlings / 6 week veg.

AWFULLY blue, better if you're growing corals and other aquatic photosynthetics, but that's an expensive mistake, no? Might want to contact the company and ask for another bulb. Not that I don't think it'll work, but like I said, it's awfully blue with very little red. Which is why it's fantastic for aquatic photosynthetics.

I've used a variety of halides for vegging and I will say that Sea is right in regards to the spectrum. My favorites have been right around 5000-6500 kelvin (Sun Master Cool Deluxe, Horti Blue, etc). The 10,000K I usually reserve for finishing when I have one on hand but have vegged full grown plants under em and they didn't kill em, just they vastly preferred the Cool Deluxe.

That being said, Throw a 400 HPS in there, you now have a full spectrum for veg and can do em half as long :)
