Hi all, just wanting t start a convo on how improving ventilation will help your plants thrive,at least I'm told. I haven't mastered this as matter of fact I'm getting ready to take out a basement window in order to vent outside, and draw in fresh air . I tried the carbon filters, but I think the intake wasnt enough because my tents were sucked in when they came on. I have reconfigured my basement and hopefully this will help my garden be more successful. Anyone have a preferred style?

you got to have your intake air coming in to match the exhaust going out friend, one of to much of the other cause the sides to suck in ,negative pressure, you have to have air exchange every min ,i dont know the formula for that someone will chime in that does, but i control mine with speed controlers i have one each ,for exhaust fan and same for intake fan,i tweak them until the sides will be sucked in but just barly,i other words just thump the sides to you have that happy medium,i can lightly pull the zipper and have little resistance,if you dig what i mean.
said and done my controlers for exhaust is wide open and intake is about half way to get what im talking about, just a room would be so much easier were you could controled timed exchange would be so much better, this is a down side to tents and small tents aint no joke mine is 2x4x5 and i fight the bitch all the way, youhave to exhaust the heat out more so than the smell,so what you do hahahaahah

thanks Oldskol, I had blowers on both but naive me didn't know what that control switch was for or where to attach it. Also should I worry about mold or fungus or bugs getting into intake ? besides screen what could be placed inline to filter that out?

So if you are filtering the intake, show do you compensate for the co2?
Nice plants btw
