So when my clones roots I will be putting 20 5gl smart 10 on each side. 5 high
5 low. So here is some photo of the setup. The plants in the photo is the moms Pure Royal.

Dont start vegging them with the vertical light until they are 18"-24" tall at least, otherwise you will be in for a long veg time. should be able to give them overhead lighting for 2wks, then vertical for one and flip

I will veg under my 8 bulb t5 light in 1 gl pots for 3 to 4 weeks then in to the big room. I love COCO. The tables have a 1/4" fall to the gutter in to the tub. I will setup a DTW
for the feed. Hand water this run or I may setup a feeder line.

Becouse my cold air intake and fan is in the back. In the photo you can see the 6" intake. The 6" intake feeds my fan.

mrdizzle, how much quicker does it veg w/ horizontal? i've never read such a thing..curious.

what I have found is, if you throw cuts in your room under vertical lights, because the plants are so small, they are extremely far from the light, so the growth is very slow.

but if you prevegged them 18in under a 1000w or tek-5 before you introduce the vertical bulb the plants are tall enough to soak up some of that light.

its not to say plants grow faster under a horizontal bulb, because once they are big enough vertical blows away overhead lighting, you just have to make sure your plants are big enough and close enough to the vertical bulbs.

Hey Jp, I also have 6.5ish runoff. I'm feeding @5.5-5.7ph. I was worried at first but plants look super happy/healthy. In like 40-60 days into veg(some started b4 others) bout to flip in a few days. I'm curious to hear what the experienced coco heads have to say( this is my first run with it).
Btw, I'm doing 50/50 mix coco/hydroton in hempy buckets running H&g full line.

Update the babys have roots and now there are in the pots that I will veg in for 4 to 5 weeks. Then I will plant the into 3gl smart pots.

The veg room
is at 75deg hum 60 to 65 clone room is at 77 deg hum 70 to75 I keep a dome on for 1 week then I take it off. I got roots in 11 days but I think I can them to root faster with the rock not as wet. Let them go thrue a wet and dry but not to dry. veg room is 6x8 clone room is 6x4 by 7 ft high.
