Vertical vs Horizontal actually dependant on the strain?

If you were growing Plants that produce Large wouldnt it be a good Idea to go horizontal so that most of the intensity is directed above the Main cola
or
does this not make a difference? the vertical light will give the same result of cola as the horizontal?

if you had plenty of height and plenty of flat space, what would you do?

Vertical gives you the larger plants as your growing upward, if your growing flat then you need more lights to cover the area.

But back to the question it goes back to does it depends on the strain

No matter how much space I have....I still prefer Vertical. You get more pure unreflected light to your plants.

Most hybrids and sativas have no probs with a vert setup. But some of the very dense Indica are not real happy with a vert light. I still flower my indica this way...but it helps to thin out the foliage as well.
