Very high soil ec with low water ec

Hello ,

I recently measured my soil ec as i was concerned about a nutrient lockout.Turns out my soil had an ec of 5.0 in all 4 plants.

The water i feed them with fertilizers has an ec of 0.8.I feed them once a week with 1ml/l bio-grow and 1ml/l cal-mag.

The cal-mag i have is supposed to be sprayed but i used it as soil fertilizer as the company has a schedule for soil too.

Why do i have such elevated soil ev level?I suspect the cal-mag caused this.

Did you do a run off test with a controlled ec to have a baseline?

I bought a general soil for seedlings from my local store.

I did a run off test with a controlled ec of 0.6.
