Hi everyone!

First, thanks for taking the time to look at this post! Your insights are very much appreciated.

I am in my first grow and have the feeling that it is going very very slowly.

I am growing a photo White Widow, the humidity seems stable around 50/55% during the day and up to 70% at night when the light goes off.

Daytime temperate is around 26 Celsius (79F) but goes down to around 15C/59F at night.

It is growing in a 60x60cm grow tent taking fresh air in on a balcony.

Not using nutes yet and watering at pH6.3 (if the pHmetre is accurate).

The light is 100w from Vivosun (aerolight 100a) which I lowered at 60cm/23 inches above the plant yesterday. Kept it around 80cm/31in before.

This is a picture taken at day 7 and another one yesterday at day 14 after sprouting out of the soil.

The plant seems healthy but the growth speed is making me anxious!

Can it be considered normal? Anything I should be looking into?

Many thanks again for your help, happy grow to all!

doing fine though if you can get temp/humidity more consistent 24/7 than that would be even better

This is normal. It takes time to produce roots that feed new tops.
Day 14. Maybe a light feed is in order.
A 100w light will grow a plant for you but it's slow going. Don't push. 24" is about right.

yeah the progression seem a tad bit slow from day 7 to day 14, soil looks rather dry on both photo, what's your watering pratice ? (frequency, amount)

Thanks all for your quick responses.

I tend to stay on the dry side alright. Usually wait to dry out and water around 50ml with a syringe until it looks wet. I am increasing the water amount each time because I figured this could be a cause.

I’m otherwise glad it seems to look ok and healthy. Not too hurry to get to harvest so I don’t really mind a slow grow as long as it is going somewhere!
