Anybody have experience with the new viparspectra series? I'm considering a couple. P1500. I can currently get them for $100. Great price for 150w actual draw.

I'll say this.. The footprint is bullshit, Cut whatever there claiming by 1/2 I can tell ya that just by looking at the tent with the light at 100%..

Its not gonna cut it in a 3x3 like they claim for veg.. 2x2 maybe.. 3x3 fuck no..

All these chinese lights are full of shit tho.

Yeah i saw the par mapping and their claims. I plan to use them in 2x2 for a trial run, full cycle. Ultimately, probably end up as veg only fixtures. I just couldn't pass up the deal. An average run o the mill china special for .66/watt. Recent review puts the efficacy around 1.89. I'll throw a couple hundred on them and see what happens.

Pulled the trigger and bought one. Just in time too. The amazon sale over. I do believe the 20% promo code will still work though. "Maine420" Not certain when it will expire...

With the sale and promo I paid $102, shipped to my door. stay tuned in kids. I've got some fresh clones and a new light.

I plan to go full cycle in my 2x2 for the first run. Excited to be back in the game and transitioning away from hps. Setting up the light now.

I will attempt to link a review and test on Youtube a reference. It's not the most amazing budget light in its class but good value when found on sale.

This is the p1000. It is a decent reference point.

Before and after the light swap. Happy. The light is dimmed to about 40%. Will continue veg and transplant soon. 3 gal fabric pots and some flowering mix. Some more training for two weeks and flip.
