Aka Chinamart. Fuck that place ppl need to stop shopping there. They pay their employees scrap, tell them to get on welfare when they start working there and they kill real american small businesses just to name a few. I hate that place with a passion. Americans cry about jobs but spend billions at a place that gets crazy tax breaks and buys all its product from china slave warehouses. Funny when i see someone with a bumper sticker that says "out of a job yet keep buying foreign" and they shop at walmart. Ironic...

Last time I was at Walmart, I parked my truck and 5th wheel in the parking lot to rest for the night. I only went in to take a dump but first thing I saw was Chinese toilet paper... so I left and shit in a bush.

I work there simply because it pays, and where I am, any job, you take.

I hate the place, what they stand for, and how they operate.

Them and Tescos have destroyed our town centres.

Interesting phenomena,Walmart is universally hated yet the parking lot is always full,lol,24/7 365,I wonder if this is what founder Sam Walton had in mind when he started the chain?A more apt name would be china mart.

Sam Walton was a good man. Started from the bottom and worked his way up. He said when he died his kids would ruin his company and he is probably rolling in his grave now. Also, about your comment about the parking lot always full @fishwhistle remember this - There are more Americans on welfare then working full time right now. Wally's world caters to people at the poverty line and the struggling middle class (struggling middle class is someone who is barely hanging on and almost at the poverty level) So, basically they cater to a very big number of people in this country. That is why they don't care if you talk shit about there relationship with China or cheap labor because at the end of the day they have shit for a cheaper price for the ppl they cater to they are fine with that. Walmart loves when more people get on food stamps! PS check out peopleofwalmart.com

I was in the grocery business a few years back. I recall my Sara Lee bread guy come in one day and tell me they were firing him after working with Sara Lee for 8 years. I asked why and he said Walmart wanted there loaves of bread for .20 cents cheaper and told Sara Lee if they didn't do it they wouldn't carry there product no more. So, of course they bowed down and to make up on that .20 cent loss they laid off over 14 full time employees including my delivery guy. These big companies like Walmart effect everyone one way or another...

Where I live Walmart is the only option pretty much.We have one other chain that tries to compete but they just don't have the selection that an all in one stop does.I do check for sales for sure but I am yet another slave to the big W.One saving grace is that I have found a local butcher and he does package deals. The meats are fresh and awesome but you have to get there early if you want to fill your freezer.More and more people are finding this guy and his stock is limited.I will never buy meats from Walmart again as it's the sorriest excuse for edible product and yet their claims about it are through the roof! The meats they sell are garbage, simple as that. The war is over and Walmart has won but hopefully I'll never have to buy their meats, veggies,or eggs ever again. P.S. Weber kettles are the best!I have two and one is almost 20 years, going strong.

Actually, the war is not over yet. More and more people are finding out what Wallys world really is. There sales are down and their stock performance is lagging. There produce section does so horrible they lose money every day on it... Hopefully, Walmart will start closing stores and America can go back to supporting small business owners and not a rich shareholder or CEO who plans on buying his fourth home in the hamptons...

Whole foods has also shut down small guys. One of our long time egg customers closed shop soon after WF moved to town.
They also say they buy local but they have lots of rules and regs. that are just not worth it for the real small scale super high quality guys like us and others.
Best to seek out small scale farms and buy as much as you can and watch what you purchase at super markets, can do well with a little effort
