Where i live , within a 30mile radius. There's 3 SUPER WAL-MART'S. WITH produce and deli sections (24hr operations ). Being married to a Cheapskate Wife from NYC, she figures processed foods and low prices is the way to go. I lie when it's my turn to go food shopping. I drive more than two hrs to buy organic and pesticide free food's . Now that i think about it, might need a divorce. Cuz she's just NOT grasping the facts of health. Death to Wal-Mart! !

Is anything made in America anymore? Seems the krap made cheep in China doesn`t last and sometimes never worked in the first place! American made stuff costs less by the time you figure in it`s quality and durability. American made stuff puts Americans to work and keeps our national debit down. Please buy American made goods when ever possible!

yeah, that's why i referred to both as whores, it's only a matter of degree and so shopping at Whole Foods serves the same corporate masters, it just selfishly allows you to pay an inflated price for slightly better quality.

...if we don't become willing to spend a little more money, time and effort seeking out local sources for our food then we deserve what we get.

...freedom isn't free and if you are unhappy with the current state of affairs then you need to have the principles to vote with every dollar you spend.

...for example, when Kellogg's fired Michael Phelps for smoking a bong they lost me as a customer for life, they can choke on all their cereals and cookies and such, they can eat it themselves for all i care.

...if you shop at any local discount grocery stores you'll find a LOT of Kellogg's products still being discounted, i guess i'm not the only one still punishing them.

peace, bozo

...what's really sad is that that power chair was probably paid for with tax payer dollars.

...i can't think why spending tax payer money to subsidize carts for the fat and lazy is a good thing, ...better to teach healthy lifestyles and choices to our children so they don't grow into adults with Volkswagon sized ass's who need power chairs to lug all that disgusting blubber around in public.

...if they want to have a power chair let them buy their own.

peace, bozo

It's messed up some of the ingredients that make it into "food". You have to be on the ball these days to eat well and eat ethically.

In the immortal words of Colonel Sanders, "I'm too drunk to taste this chicken"... -Ricky Bobby, Ron Burgundy

Well, it probably wasn't chicken.

I stopped shopping for anything at walmart. I wish more folks would realize that they are shooting themselves in the foot by going to this foreign shithole-of-a-place.

I buy very little at walmart and never food. Unfortunately there are not many options in my 'hood unless you count buying TP at the grocery store.

I do make trips to WinCo when possible because the staples (rice, beans, seasonings, canned and dry goods) are actually cheaper than walmart and it cares for its employees. Costco is another store that cares for employees, has fair prices if you look and has good meats.

Only way to make sure it's done right is to do it your self. this is why we do what we do. Above all else we put food as the most important thing in life. I raised this chicken from a small chick which is a special hy bred mix with French Culinary meat chicken genes with a Cornish cross. slowly grown no gmos grind and mix my own feeds for all our chickens...this monster hen was tender and juicy as it gets, full poultry flavor, butchered myself, clean and quick....

Neighbors get free chickens and eggs, country folk take care of each other. We get a 5 gallon bucket of honey from neighbors hives they get free eggs and chickens...
when we needed water main dug up, neighbor was there with backhoe. when I flipped truck volunteer fire Dept. member who's a neighbor went and got his loader and scooped up 12,000 Lbs. of spilled corn.
We hardly see our neighbors cause we are all always busy but when needed we all are there for each other....Hot fudge sundae...Hold the Duck butter....
Dawg's Waltz, homemade as well as the fudge and ice cream..
