For those of you who use coco coir I have made a somewhat surprising (to me) discovery, coco coir is flammable!

My wife had used some of my growing media to use in some indoor potted plants. On the counter in one of our bathrooms are two pots on the countertop that she put coco in. Sometimes we burn incense in the bathroom (for obvious reasons) and had lit them and poked them in to the media, thinking they would just burn out, and they did several times. Until the top layer had dried out. We noticed a burning smell for a couple of days but couldn't figure out where it was coming from until I definitely got hit in the face with the smell walking in the bathroom. The incense had burned down, lit the coco and smoldered on and under the surface with no visible smoke. When we discovered it we could feel the sides of the pot were warm. When we opened it up it had burned down about an inch and several inches across.

There was no real danger being in a ceramic pot and it was worth a bit of a laugh, and some relief because I was thinking something was burning inside the wall somewhere. Hindsight is everything right? Should have realized the potential sooner but no harm, no foul, this time, lol.
