Warrants: Search part of homicide investigation tied to marijuana empire
DELAWARE COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) The three-day search of a 140-acre tract of rural land in central Indiana involved a body and a major marijuana empire, according to documents released by authorities Monday.
On Thursday officers with the Muncie Police Department, Delaware County sheriff’s deputies and FBI agents served search warrants at the property in northern Delaware County. The search involved a cadaver dog, and authorities appeared to dig a series of shallow holes in the backyard of a home in the search area.
